thats such a shame but at least he didnt die in the misery he had been living in. he had some love and some kindness and some square meals he died happy?

That is so sad. what a life! I hate people who treat dogs with no compassion whatsoever.
Thank god he had a few nice weeks where he felt loved and was comfortable.
