I gather he was having his operation this morning at the PDSA. Lets hope the news is good, i have everything crossed for him.

There is an update about Duke [and photos] under Dogs Reunited on DogLost, and the news is very good!

Fantastic news about Duke from his owner, posted last night:

we are seriously happy, just been to pick duke up from the vets. he hasnt had his operation after all. a considerable amount of new bone growth has grown around the fracture the vets felt before taking him down. so hopefully with total rest at home and his painkillers he's gonna be just fine they think.
got an appointment in 7 days time to check up. all on the way there, we had our fingers crossed they hadnt chopped it off during the op... will reply to all the messages later on...
just wanna say thankyou to everyone for all your help/support through all this. xx
