Update about Duke, the GSD who went missing after his owner Lisa was in a car accident on the M60 in Manchester.

quick update, dukes been found. he was hit by a car/lorry , jumped the barrier, rolled down embankment and hasnt moved from there since.. so 8 n half days without water/food. he's injured but being treated and is stable at the minute at the vets and is in good hands..
thanks to all that helped search.

huge thanks to HAPPY ENDINGS PET REHOMING , Salford On Line . Jackalee DogLost NW Co-ordinator and volunteers and everybody else......... this was lisa status 9 hours ago so just wanted to post to show everyone he has been found lets just pray that he is ok. amazing the support tho that everyone has show!!! xxxx get well soon duke xxxx

That is awful, so very glad he was found by someone, this could have had a really very very sad ending.
Hope he is soon on the road to recovery and home where he belongs.

I am so pleased to hear that Duke has been found and will keep everything crossed that he recovers well from his terrible ordeal.

So pleased he has been found, even if the outcome is not good at least his owner will know what happened to him, lets hope he pulls through.....fingers crossed x

Emotional rollercoaster reading through this thread.

SO happy he has been found and survived. I hope he does pull through after surviving so long on his own.
