Poor Pigeon

It died. I heard it move at around 7ish this morning but when I got back from our walk just now it is dead. I feel very sad but at least a cat didn't get it. There isn't a ring around its leg so it must be a wild pigeon.
Ah well.
Thanks for the advice last night.

oh no - I did not know you were looking after a pigeon - its so heartbreaking when they die but at least you were there and tried to help the bird - that means so much and makes me feel happy to know that there are people out there who care enough to do that

Aw thanks. I found it hiding by a bush yesterday afternoon while out with Loki - it was obviously injured as it couldn't move well or fly but I had to leave it as I couldn't do anything with it and Loki was VERY interested.

But I went back for it with a box and took it home. I was going to take it to a wildlife centre this morning.
