'Teenage' spots

Has anyone's dog ever had 'teenage spots' before?
I ask, as poor Teagan has a few at the moment!

I was wondering if I shouold put anything on them (cream, or wash them), or just leave them alone?

Thanks!

Yes
It could be pyoderma (pus filled spots - nice!)
Think you might need a course of antibiotic but you could try a herbal etc remedy - tea tree/garlic/aloe.
Don't know doses/application, so will step back, but have def had experience of the pyoderma - went the antibiotic route

They don't seem to be filled with anything on inspection.
Just red spots, with no heads!

No mini, not like that...
Imagine you have a spot on your face, and it's just a red lump, before a head comes.
They are like that. Just a red spot, but with no head.
They don't seem to bother her, and she doesn't flinch if I touch them.

where abouts are they? bronson has some on his chin and when he went for a check over at the vets they said it was canine acne sometimes known as bull boil as alot of bull breeds get it at some point. It went away but has come back now and we were told to get some antiseptic cream as some of them are really red and have started to 'burst'.
Hope this helps

They are on her muzzle (floppy lips), and her chin.
I think they really are 'teenage spots' (acne).

What kind of antiseptic cream did you use?

Hi Derby Rotty to link you find the page ,then go to the address bar at the top of the page,

right click mouse button and 'copy,'
go to where you want to post it,
right click mouse button and 'paste'
