Orbees float but are entirely different to the Starmark ball, this is one reason I LOVE the starmark balls, the dogs cannot practice mouthing, a big no no for dogs who are expected to a) have a full, calm grip on the sleeve, b) retrieve articles without mouthing from a search square and c) for gundog that retrieve game.

Hence why I like the starmark ball, it is also LIGHTER than an ORBEE

Does anyone have a picture of their dog holding one? I want to see if the medium would be big enough for my GSD but i don't want it too big as he carries it around for quite a while

I use kong air fetch stick as it floats, you can throw it very long distances, and the dog likes the feel of it in the mouth.

Cheap at £3.08

these are good to.

I like the safestix and that has lasted some time, but so it should at the price!

These also float but I have to make sure I do not render any wildlife unconscious when I use it on the lake!

Hmmm I want one now! How come they can't mouth, is it because there is no give in the ball?

Kofi loves to mouth his orbee and jolly ball (constantly) and although he has a full calm grip while he is on the sleeve as soon as the sleeve is slippped and he stops moving, he tries to mouth it. So a ball that he doesn't practice with, might be helpful!
