Poor Milly Kitten

Poor little Milly kitten had a rather unfortunate mishap during the night Friday/Saturday morning.

When we got up Saturday morning we were greeted to a really messy utility room and a poor Milly covered in her own poo, I cleaned her up and it was obvious there was something wrong with her bottom, so I took her to the vets and it seems she's suffered a prolapse of something or other.

The vet has shaved all round her bottom to make it easier for us to keep her clean, and he sent us home with instructions to bring her back first thing Monday for a a purse string stitch to be put in to repair the prolapse.

Unfortunately today it has got worse and she's lost all control of her bottom completely so we've taken her in as an emergency and the vet is doing the procedure this afternoon, the vet does assure us though that she will be as right as rain in a few days, can't help worrying about her though.

Oh poor Milly kitty Fingers and paws crossed that she soon has a better botty, and is on the road to recovery.
