Yes Lynn, hope Dillon will be okay. This heat doesn't suit Amber. She has been out for three walks today and her tummy is still not right, a lot of the dogs round here have been the same.

Until we get the result of this next DM test we are in the dark really, can only wonder that it might be neurological or nerves combination of both.
He is the age now when things can start going dramatically wrong.
Trying not to over worry for now till test result back, will do the swab over the weekend and get it sent back hopefully Monday.
Can be a 1 to 2 week wait for results.
If same result as Exon 2 carrier low risk could be he is starting with DM if not something else.
Will keep a log now of major stumbles and if results clear for Bernese DM will monitor carefully and then it will be a chat with the vet.
At the moment he is happy enough as mentioned.

Gorden was walking him I was behind there were no problems with the surface to make him stumble he was in a hurry to get down the pathway to the bridge and Gorden said it felt like his front legs were picking up pace but his back legs couldn't keep up. I watched both back legs dip considerably down on his hocks.

Sounds worrying Lynn. It's so depressing as they get older and these things creep up on them.
