Thank you everyone I feel all 'hugged' this morning and it's lifted my spirits! Thank you

Oh and I've passed some onto Hoya too, not that she knows whats going on, bless her.
Running around without a care in the world. Except she is starting to wonder why she hasn't had breakfast yet

Just 1 hour to go!

Thanks everyone.
The vet just called and the op went fine but I can't collect her until 2.30pm to allow her to wake and they can assess if she's okay.
They said she was just coming round and all I could here was her whinning in the background - ohhh I hate it!!!

They did tell me though that she shows fat tissue in her tum so will be prone to put on weight!

Aw, poor pup, she'll be fine. Although expect the old soldier act when she gets home;0)

Dougal just had his stitches out today so he's cock-a-hoop. Although you'd think he was about to be murdered the way he was carrying on in the vets

Well she's been home a few hours now and I've already called the vet.
She won't settle down and has persistenly cried & howled - had no sleep - can't get comfy, it's awful and I don't know what else to do.
She ate a little and been out to toilet but she seems in pain to me but the vet insists she's had suitable pain relief and it's just the anestetic wearing off!

It's really upsetting coz I feel I need to help her.
My other 2 just slept after their ops.

I know this sounds like a platitude, but different dogs would react in different ways I would imagine. She is perhaps feeling it more than your other two did.

*hugs* Hope she is better soon.

This can happen hun, it can effect some more than others. Reah was fine so was Bruce, but Skye screamed everytime she moved.....try not to worry, just watch over her and she should settle. xxxxx ((((((hugs)))))))

Oh thank you lore & YS I feel better knowing others had this experience.
I did call the vet again at 6.30 before they went home to re-check and they said I could give her half a rimadyl which I did.
It's helped her relax so she isn't shuffling around so much but she's still whinning non-stop even when half asleep.

I really thought she might have stopped by now but she's not letting up at all!

You know when you have that moment of thought 'what have I done' !!!!!!!!!!!
