Lovely pictures

We were very sad earlier in the month when our returning nesting blackbirds who nest in the same place every year had somehow tipped their nest up and 1 baby was dead on the floor whilst the unhatched eggs lay smashed .

Do you feed the birds throughout the summer? I never know if I should or not, I usually don't, and put the bird feeders away? xxx

That is really sad

Ref feeding, I feed them all year round, which is recommended by the RSPB xx It is an old wives tale about not feeding all year round

Infact, in my garden they eat more at this time of year than any other, as they have their chicks to support and with loss of habitat etc it can be hard for birds.
