Brenda. That pheasant had the nerve to walk right across in front of the cattery pens at the boarding establishment we had at the time before we sold up.
I thought i had posted some of my bird photos before???? if not here are a few more.

The pheasant was called Pedro. He popped through the gate every day, had a mooch round our orchard and then walked out. He never flew in or out

Thanks all for the nice comments. Wildlife photography I think is one of the hardest disciplines in photography. You don't get a second chance for a reshoot, but it is the most rewarding when all elements come together.

The way I look at photography is if I like them its ok, if others like them it is a bonus

The swan swimming away with wings arched came third in an international competition by Thierry Mugler (google it)in their valentine photo competition some years ago.

The pheasant Sue mentioned was a completely wild one but seemed to like to visit us, drove the cats in the cattery mad.
