Dog Dryers/Blasters - Anyone use/give advice plz

I am looking for a dog blaster for my 2 newfoundlands, so must be powerful.

The one i have been after is the purple mega blaster but can't stretch to nearly £500.

I have seen the Laube magnum force blaster (yellow) on ebay for over half the price and wondered if it was any good.

Any one got any thoughts or experience of using blasters please.

They're brilliant.

With ours having double coats letting them dry naturally is a NO NO and hand drying can take hours and hours.

The blaster ...blasts the water out of the coat from the roots so lifts the fur and removes the water.

Much quicker and gives a nice finish too, provided you brush while you blast.

I swear by it and wouldnt be without it now

I am wondering though, if you use it on your cavaliers if it would be powerful enough for my newfs.

There is a second hand one going on ebay, near to where i live and it is starting at £40.00 which if in good working order and only been used a few times (as stated) it would be a bargain.

Do you use this one

I had the exact same vision in my head!!

An older friend of mine has a powerful blaster and she made me laugh one day.

she told me she was late getting ready to go out and was running around the house like a mad women with her curlers in her hair, decided she didn't have time to blow dry her hair she picked up her dog blaster and pressed "on". The curlers ended up in the other room across the hall way.

lol have never dried my own hair but ya never know

the girls take 5 mins if that its so easy just be careful to condition the coat really well as it does dry the coat out if even overused for a few seconds

good luck you gotta get one you won't look back

Oh god, it was second hand from an ex grooming business and the people selling it didn't even know what it was, as they bought the shop entire

It's a Groomex, which I dont think are made anymore, but it's a tall freestanding one that you can twist and turn to suit position for any height of dog and angle.

Might be worth asking around to see if any Groomers are renewing any equipment too
