Urine dilemma

Tamino is starting to have some very wierd piddiling habits.

He has started to trail his wee, like right in the middle of peeing he will start to walk away and trail his wee all over the floor, he only does this when he wees in the house mind. He also wees more often, which could be because he is maturing and trying to make territory. Buuuuuuuut he is STILL not lifting his leg!!

The other thing is that he is starting to drink his pee. I know its normal for male dogs to taste urine to an extent. But Tamino would drink the whole puddle up!

Any ideas on why he does this?

Tam didn't pee inside till about a month ago. Its supposed to be a very common thing with this breed that once they get to adolescence they loose their housebreaking. Everyone told me not to be too cocky with him not weeing in the house at a young age as he will almost invevitably loose it. They say though to go back to basics and when he stops the "kevin" stage he will stop it.

The only time my Paddy pees indoors and walks as peeing is when one of the girls are about to come in season, it's like he's marking EVERYWHERE!! Normally he doesn't do it indoors at all

Just a small point not all male dogs lift their legs to pee - our old Benny never lifted his leg in all his 13 years, whereas Duncan lifts his all the time.
