Raining hard here. Did manage to get out for a walk as it stopped but then poured when half way round the walk. Never mind Teazle is now curled up on a blanket having been thoroughly towelled down

Quick update on new light fitting

First time last night to see how good they were at night time. Against an old fashioned pendant light hanging down ( even with 100 w bulb) these new lights are so much brighter. Being able to turn each individually to where I wanted most of the light was a huge bonus. I did put in the GU10 5.3 Lumen cool white LED bulbs having made sure that they were allowed on the fitting. Some fittings won't allow that so worth checking.

I just like table lamps around the room. Usually only have one or two on until visitors come and then probably four. I like yours but I am not a lover of overhead lights on over me. Stopped raining for a bit. Was pleased to see the coal tits sussing out the caravan nest box that had been taken away for repair for a week or so. Nice to see them happy to be back looking into it. I hadn't even had time to put up the for rent sign. Cheeky things. bg!!

We changed bulbs too, Sue. The horrible orange light of the energy saver bulbs give me headaches. The new bulbs, while still energy saver, are a white light and so much better

I can't stand these light bulb things that stick above the lampshades. So annoying and unsightly. Saying that it is getting gloomy so must put some on. bg!! Have a good evening peeps.
