I know I was in Ireland and N. Ireland last august and I saw a brindle staffordshire...she was a beauty!

My dog doesn't have the pit personality either.
He lterally hides from other dogs, unless he's showing out for Whispie, his girlfriend. And he only does that when there is a safe fence between him and the other dog.

Hi Jenny,

Thanks for the reply...hopefully the British Dog immigration people will agree!

I have no idea what his heritage is, definately beagle and probably spaniel. The only thing that looks pit bullish is his brindle color and stocky build.

As for temperment...well, I've seen him run away in terror from 8 week old lahsas and mini shnauzers, so there you go. I don't think the UK would have anything to fear from his presence there!
