Bacon, Mushroom & Cheese Pasta

Ingredients:

Packet of smoked bacon
Punnet of mushrooms
Large onion
Tim of chopped tomatoes
Cheese
Garlic
Sale & Pepper
Pasta bows

Chop the onions and fry until a light golden brown
De-rind the bacon and cut into squares and add to the onions and cook gently until the bacon is cooked
De-stalk the mustrooms and slice and add to the onions and Bacons and cook gently until mushrooms are cooked trough and soft
Add some chopped garlic, salt and pepper to taste
Add the tin of chopped tomatoes
*you can add a little bit of water to make the sauce thinner*

Cook the above gently nd bring to a high heat
Grate some cheese and add to the above and keep stiring untilthe cheese has metled into the sauce - its up to you how much cheese you want to add, I add quite a lot cause I like mine quite cheesy

Cook some pasta bows (or Penne or tagliatelle if you prefer),one cooked, drain the pasta, pour over the sauce and mix through and serve piping hot

A tip for you - soak the saucepan that youive cooked the sauce in immediately as its a nightmare to clean once the cheese has hardened

The kids and I have just eaten this, and Steph, it's yummy. Very filling too, I served it with salad and french stick, and I had to roll off the table.

Emma (my daughter, not our Emma) has a message for you Steph, she's asked me to tell you that it's really nice
