Potatoes

We have just emptied one of our potato bags.
Hubby is very disappointed but it is one of the small bags that we only planted one spud in.
Guess who had to get in on the act!
"Call them spuds"??

While I had the camera in the garden I took a pic of my Clematis. I grew it in a wigwam this year and it has done so well.

hmmmm we emptied one last week and didn't get much more than you so am leaving the other two bags a while longer. Maybe we didn't feed them enough or the soil was not manured enough.

clematis is georgous

Not so bad on the spud front from one potato I do wonder if it is lack of rain that is making a small yield this year.. They will be really tasty. We have some peas now so last night we had one each and ate them straight from the pod they were delicious.

Your clematis is stunning.

Hubby's in a sulk now, says he is never growing them again
We are leaving our big bags a bit longer.
They were watered, fed and generally treated with TLC. They are very expensive potatoes at that rate!

Dani I was wondering that.

I planted two large garlic bulbs that were sprouting in the pot on the work surface, just to see what they do but I have no idea how to tell when they're ready to pick?????
