*Copperhead Racer*

http://www.zippyvideos.com/8194375505419076/sv_a0064/

That's me holding what my workmate happily informs everyone is a "Copperhead Racer"....he knows, you know.
I had it pegged as a Ratsnake or cornsnake...Ceiron successfully identified it as a California King Snake.
Innit lovely ?

Well, mainly because they were what I wear at work, and I hadn't got around to removing tham when we found the snake...if you look at the pic I posted earlier, I had not got gloves on then...
But also...well, it wasn't my snake, and whilst it seemed hand tame, until I was sure I didn't want it to take a nip.
And yes, it was as vicious as a daisy...and I can't find where he went....
And now I want on of my own...hopefully have one in the next couple of weeks

There's a shop in Coventry, near th old football ground, by the name of Godiva Reptiles. I'm going to have a look in there tomorrow, make sure I can get frozen food there, and see what kind of King/Rat/MilkCorn snakes they have.
SWMBO has got it into her head that I need to get a blue one....
