I can't wait to get my OWN garden... Hopefully, give me 3 years and I will be able to buy my own place (if all goes to plan!)!

Just a few flowers we have planted in the garden:

And this, is the only plant that was in the garden when I moved in...it was tiny and I saved it and re-planted it when the garden wa done last year.

I also have a lot more of those purple ones, and some pansys, and a lot of 'green' plants, that don't flower, or have no flowers yet. (My Mum told me the names, but I forgot!)

Be careful with that last one Hevvur. It's called Vinca (I think) and they're very invasive adnd grow like wildfire.

The colours on those primulas are amazing. They don't look real do they?

Well, finally got the garden to a stage where I can post pics!
Excuse the long bits of grass next to the raised beds...my strimmer broke

The flower beds:

The whole garden from 2 different windows:

This was it at the start of last year:

And this was in about June, when the patio and new flower beds had been built:

We are planning a patio area for the pots in the top left corner, to the left of the shed.

What a difference! It looks really good. I especially like the way that bed comes out in front of the shed. It really breaks up the space and makes it so much more interesting than just straight borders round the edge.

Thanks Minda and Harveys Mum

yes, I am very proud, as is my Mum (who helped me).
We do have some more work to do, and some more plants to put in etc, and I have a whole load of seedlings and bulbs growing in pots too, but no pics of those until they are ready lol

It will be nice to sit outside in the sun this year!
