Good afternoon all.

I'm on camera watch today. Gary had a fit in the early hours of the morning and banged his head. Went down and the cut isn't bad, nor the grazing, but he had a lot of pain in his neck (not too unusual). He doesn't look well, but wouldn't come here so I'm watching him like a hawk on the camera. He's been up all night. He had a couple of hours sleep earlier and I'm hoping he goes back to sleep this afternoon as feeling rough coupled with lack of sleep is a bad combination.

We've done well with the fits since the new tablets, but we knew they weren't a cure. I just hope that he has a good long stretch now before the next beast hits

Oh dear Lynn things seem to be out to get you but if you offer to pay for repair that is all you can do. Belated birthday wishes to
Dillon

Enjoy your peace Norma

Enjoy your easier day Sal

Luckily Teazle is not worried by fireworks but had one that was.

Lovely day here. Been and got some more bits for Barry's cough hopefully it will work. Also been and ordered some timber to repair the underside of the porch once the leak has been fixed an roof refelted.

Hope all two and four legged are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

this is what sue is referring to. Just remove the plywood sheeting now there and go upmarket a bit with proper wood and get rid of those round air vents, got long slotted ones on order

Not a hard job just got to wait for materials to be delivered and get rid of this damn cough

That camera is a Godsend by the sounds of it. Hope all goes well, and another long clear run.

Had a busy morning and I have yet another cold, this is the 2nd one in a month and still have a banging headache.

Luke’s off today and tomorrow, holiday days owing, and Lizzie is off now till a week on Monday, unused holiday, Toms in later.

Cats have been out and about, Tally and Toby have come in and are chilling upstairs, Marmite and George are out, but when they come in a little later they will be kept in just in case we have fireworks going off tonight.
Meg had a coughing fit last night, just before bed, Lizzie googled it and according to her she may have heart disease or lung cancer, don’t you just love google.... sounded a bit like kennel cough, she coughed a little this morning, but nothing since, will see how she goes may need a vet visit, I swear she’s the vets best friend.

Having an easy day today I hope, and footie is live on TV later, so will be watching that.

Moyra hope you feel better soon x

Have a good day all x
A full house.

We made a decision we would find a macerator plumber regular plumbers won't touch them and can't say as I blame them and pay the money for them to fit a new one if needed. Rang saniflo she says it sounds like it needs servicing but to be honest it probably needs a bigger macerator but we aren't sure the size she is suggesting will fit.
If it does nearly a grand but we will pay it thing is he cannot get to us till Friday and we move Monday.
If it doesn't fit hopefully he can make this one good if not we are now thinking we will have to make the bathroom redundant and drop the price by that amount for Holly and Dale to sort. It will be cutting it fine contacting solicitor Friday and sorting it all by Monday.
Feeling a bit stressed.
These things are sent to try you Lynn. A smooth move would simply not be you................LOL

Oh Lynn you'll be glad to see the back of that macerator when you move. I think they are terrible things. I had one in my Post Office, I was always having to fix it myself, never again! Fireworks have started again. I am off to bed I have a cold come out as well as the dodgy tummy. Night all. M.xx

Oh no, sorry to hear this Chris, hope he’s doing ok, what meds is he on?

So much for an easy day, O/H has been a pain today, ranting for hours on end and he’s so selfish at times. And as for Luke he thinks he has a problem with his car and has been ranting about that all day long.
Then comes the argument about Christmas, and about me going to see family and friends, every year he does this, tells me I can’t use “his” car, told him I will get the train if I have to, but Lizzie will take me so that shouldn’t be an issue 😊

Moyra - Hope you feel better soon

Lynn - There's always a 'last minute' hitch, feel sorry for you, must say I would be tempted to do a quick repair to get it working and then if it fails again when the new owners are in that is just fate.

Griff - Sorry I missed your birthday

Was in the garden centre on Tuesday, picked a few items and went to the check out and just put the card in the reader when everything went black and I collapsed on the floor The staff and a couple of Barclays Bank guys who were just entering picked me up, took me to the restaurant and gave me a cup of tea, stayed until I felt OK.

Doc. gave me full check over and thinks it's a nasty virul / flu infection so I'm on anti-biotics and orders to stay indoors and rest

As mentioned above these horrible things are going around, when you are young they don't effect you but as you get older they seem to hit hard

Sal / Lacey / Bumblesnout - welcome back, nice to see you

So I will look in from time to time but maybe won't have much to say

I did manage to get Casey to the vets for a routine check up and some more medication of various sorts. She said he was looking good considering his heart condition and his age. The pain killer he is on is a very low dose so we could double it (One at night and one in th eday) not sure if that's a good idea but he is having better nights since we started him on them.
