to control the amount of heat each rad lets out ..i don't have them so mine is run by a termo on the wall when the house reaches the right temp it shuts off

which is what confuses me cuz that's what the thermostat does?...lol...I think i've just got to many things that I don't need...lol

I've got a wall stat radiator ones and the valves too and that's why I get confused...lol Stupid radiators...Dunno why I'm worried for anyway, will prob run out of oil again and not be able to use them anyway

Be much simpler in the garden sitting by a fire

i just use my therm as an on and off really its set to 0 now and i will put it on later to 15-20 whereever i here it click in

ok now here's a question my boiler is heating only ( not water) and it has a switch on to 1-4 ???????? anyone know

can't ring corgi man again he might try to flog me some radiator thermo's LOL

Right (it's like the blind leading the blind here!) I 'THINK' that is how hot the water gets heated...If you find it is way to hot coming out the tap you turn it down and if not warm enough = up?...Err maybe!

nope..............its not a combi it only heats heating NOT WATER ...thats a differnt boiler

the boiler is a glow worm one ( any one else got one )

there must be a way to tap off the energy used for scrapping ...

We have controls on our radiators to turn them on or off or adjust them.

We also have a wall thermostat to switch the overall heating on or off.

We have a boiler switch to heat water and independently heat the rads.

BUT in my old house you could only adjust rads on or off and turn heating PLUS water on together.
