SBT breed agility anyone going?

Is anyone going to the East Anglian SBT agility competition on 9th Oct? First agility class for our breed of it's kind ever. So please even if you don't want to compete and either DO or DON'T own a Stafford PLEASE you can still come along and support the event for Staffies.

At Sacrewell working farm. Peterborough. October 9th show opens 10.00am, briefing 10.45 and judging starts at 11.00am.

PLEASE COME AND SUPPORT THE EVENT

Sorry your dog/bitch has to be a KC reg SBT to enter and over 18 months to compete, although you can take dogs over 4months for NFC as long as you enter them on the form first. Any dog not registered will be turned away, sorry.

Any of you Staffie owners going?

Azz if this is in the wrong place please don't worry about moving it just though more people view this section than anyother.
Karen

Hi kazz,

Is there a contact number or email addy so i could ask the organisers why IKC and Irish staffs cannot enter?

IMO IKC and Irish staffs are better suited for agility than the standard KC type staff (no offence meant)

I would love to come but but my family has IKC reg dogs

No there not recognized by the KC.
You can register them with the IKC though.(Intercontinental Kennal Club for those who didn't no not IRISH KENNEL CLUB)

I guess the peeps with the KC reg ones are scared the Irish staffs would do better and from what i've seen of both types the irish type are alot more athletic.JMO

Hi Jon

I would say ISBT are not SBT the difference being obvious, I like the ISBT but have KC reg SBT and I would take offence at the fact that you think;

But I am NOT taking offence because obviously you can't be all bad becasue you do like Staffords.
My staff does agility (but not for competition) and we will be going and she is fit and agile and fantastic.

And anyhow why not come I would go and support an event soley for ISBT because I WANT the breed/group as a whole to get good pubicity PR. And even if I couldn't take my two that does not mean I could not go. Does it?
