Homemade treats

Does anyone have any recipes for homemade treats for dogs especially ones with vegetables and ones with fish?

Pilchard cake:

Large can pilchards in tom sauce
Mix with enough flour (wholemeal) to make a thick dough
Add an egg
1 or 2 chopped garlic cloves
Huge handful of finely chopped parsley and dill from the garden
mix until consistency of cake.

Grease flat baking tin
Scoop in mixture and flatten with palette knife

Bake until done in med oven...about 20 mins

Score on removal and leave to rest. When cool break into small pieces and freeze some.

Why go to all the hassle of making treats?

Pieces of raw carrot or brocoli stalk are the bees knees for my dog. Failing that I get free sample packs of good food from the pet shop and use these.

You might call me a skinflint - I look upon it as common sense!!
