I was very sad to hear about Spotty

I'm glad you have made room for another dog in your life to share the love with though, very much looking forward to hearing (and seeing) Jake

Hi Laura, I've just caught up with Spotty's story, absolutely tragic.

Congratulations on your new puppy, I don't have a Labradoodle but know a few through training club and the park and they are all lovely dogs. One thing that they have in common is that they have all been very exuberant puppies! The bounce of a lab puppy combined with the energy and speed of a poodle is really quite something. I'd sign him up for a puppy class as soon as you can and find some calm, friendly kids asap (I'd lend you mine if we wern't so far away ). The doodle at our club now has her Gold Kennel Club Good Citizen award and is a beautifully behaved girl but her recall command is "bye, Pops" because for a long time running away from her was the only way her owner could get her to come back!

What colour is your puppy? I need to see pics! Get posting!!

J
