Is this for real?

I am currently looking to offer a good home to an aggressive female German Shepherd up to 2 years old to live on a farm as a protection/family dog. No dog too aggressive, pedigree preferred but all dogs considered
Totally shocked by this ad.

I try never to underestimate the potential idiocy of the general public - so yeah, I'd assume it's for real.

It sounds to me like someone who is perhaps a little desperate......rural crime is at an all time high, so perhaps something has happened on their farm and they are trying to protect themselves.

Just a thought.

Sounds absolutely bizarre - and just a bit bonkers!

They want a "protection" dog - "no dog too aggressive" !!!!, but also to be a "family" dog!

Strange!!!

That's exactly what I thought. It's not right but understandable to an extent if someone is persistently being targeted.

What a plank. Does he not realize that "no dog too aggressive" is going to see him as a total stranger and want to eat him?

The finest guard dogs are the ones that have been well socialised with people from a youn age so know a genuine threat and act accordingly rather than seeing everything as a potential threat.

Numpty dumpty.

I'd believe it's genuine.

I have people tell me all the time that we should get a guard dog for the farm, like somehow the dog would magically know who the "bad" guys were?!
