He passed away this morning at the age of 71, he had suffered from Pancreatic Cancer, I could always listen to his great voice, and just loved the Three Tenners, I thought he was fantastic, my thoughts are with his family at this sad time

Unfortunately, he has now died.

His voice takes my breath away. A very sad loss indeed

He had such a pure voice, we are lucky he left so many recordings He wasn't afraid to widen the type of music he was involved in

A sad day for music, He was one of the rare few who would have been a star whatever time in history he was born.
His death has brought back a lot of memorys. In 1990 when nessun dorma was the world cup song that was the last football I watched with my dad who died a couple of months later from pancreatic cancer aswell.

Awww Stormey, that is so sad.
I adored pavarotti, I thought he was an incredible man, his voice made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, I'm so sad that he is now gone, but is legacy will remain forever!
