Bens first show in a year - Prestwick

So this week was Bens first agility show in a long time
I stopped training classes with them about a year ago too - but the past month have been starting again with our own equipment

It was also Bens first ever show in grade 4
.
.
.
and his last!!!

What a good boy!! I wasnt handling 1/2 as smoothly as I would like but after a little warm up run he was doing pretty good!

we came home with two firsts, a 2nd and a 3rd! not bad going
and although we got a fault in the jumping (toe past the jump ) he seemed to be running pretty fast (for my ploddy careful boy) and when I checked the times in a grade 1 - 4 combined class Ben was the fastest dog by over 6s!!!!!

Unfort although we did a lovely clear in the grade 4 - 7 combined agility he is 10s off the speed of the grade 7's - although we were faster than the grade 4 and 5's

I am so pleased with me wee boy!!
we had a great weekend
and even managed to get Mia ringside calm and happy - untill a GSD came from each direction and we had to make a speedy exit

Well done to you both

Wish I had known it was on. Only ten mins down the road from me. I would have came down and cheered you both on

Take good care.

Seoniad.

Aww shame would have been great to meet you. Was a good show and I totaly love the park, big enough that I can even get Mia a nice offlead run - although I had a heart stopping moment when she looked down a little lane then back at me - and I saw a whole load of cows about 5m away from us!!!! ekk, I just said 'this way' and she followed me instead of trying to face of a cow!!
