This time last year I wasn't even thinking of getting a dog! we had discussed it but thought it was going to be a few years down the line.In January I bought the local paper and saw an article about a local rescue centre that had loads of dogs, we had to get a reference from our vets who knew us because of the 6 cats we have, and we ended up getting one dog from the rescue, and the other from the vets after the vet rescued her and asked if we would take her on.So it will be both dogs first Christmas with us.
