I like this thread, takes some thinking about.
My top five are

Border Collie. Energy, focus, trainability, they look fantastic chasing a ball or disk

GSD, What can I say, the best looking dog there is and you will always feel safe with a GSD around

Bearded Collie, look beautiful but lots of brushing to do.

Irish Wolfhound Aways wanted one, such gentle giants but very expensive and short lifespan.

Labrador, Always been impressed by a working guide dog since childhood

ISDS type Border Collie. The perfect breed for me, just love everything about them even their weird quirks

Brittany. I will definately have another of these pocket rockets Awesome combo of tireless hunting machine and cuddlebum.

Saluki. The most beautiful dog I can imagine sadly totally unsuitable for my lifestyle in any realistic sense

Viszla. Described as "velcro dogs" which suits me.

Beauceron. Have always liked the looks of them.
