Sounds like you both had a ball.

We will be getting regular updates I hope. Sounds such fun.

I saw your pm and hopefully I can get my little piggy along too. Although the jumps may have to be a little lower for her!
Lol, yes of course, even on the first hole they're taller than Lily is! We started with them at the bottom hole, then as we progressed they went right up, and Zena just took them in her stride. How on earth did she know, from sitting there in a "wait", that when I said "over" she was to jump??? I can't fathom that out coz I've never taught her Same as that ring, the way she just jumped through it, when the trainer had explained to me that dogs don't know you CAN get through it, they only look at the bottom and the top, it's all so weird, but then I always said she's clever didn't I!

The bond you always remark on when you see us, must be really strong for her to have done what she did this morning, I'm so very proud of her.

The best dog at the weave she said is a corgi and I bet Lily would show that up the way she wiggles!

Maybe she has a veterans course and we could take Georgie and Dylan??!!!

Oh too many Lynn, this is soooooo exciting for the pair of us! To think this dog still trusts me after all that I put her through with those awful vets and that horrific heart specialist that day, it just doesn't seem possible, and that's why, I'm so over the moon, and of course, how clever she is. Oh dear, I hope she's just as good next time, coz I want to really take this up and get faster!!!

Thanks Kicks, and of course, you know all about this don't you, I just never knew how exciting it all was, and the way Zena walked home with me, she was bobbing up and down, with a real spring in her step, so proud of herself I could tell as she smiled up at me!!

We have Foxfold in common then did you see?!!!!

Lol, that did cross my mind at one point, especially when the trainer started praising us both up and saying "brilliant" and getting all excited herself!!! You've really got to have a go at this, I saw a little tilly lookalike doing that A-frame when I went over there on Sunday for a reckie, although she wasn't going up there with the same gusto that Zena did, she was almost to the top! I can't wait to see that little Lily racing around one of these either, with Claire trying to keep up of course!!!!

I reckon Lily would love it! Those german shepherd ears of hers would be flapping like crazy as she leaps over the jumps! Have done a little bit of it at our training club with Tilly. She did it but dont think she's much of a natural!!
