**nemo-patterdale terrier meeting the addition**

here are 2 pics taken whilst we where trying to introduce nemo to the new addition
he is not at all impressed and has a less than friendly reaction
still he is a terrier and its his natural instinct, just hope in time he will calm down and stop looking at my wee baby as LUNCH

please be assured we had a very tight grip on nemo at ALL times and squeek was in no danger of being hurt

all terrier owners,, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Keep a close eye on yer furry friend. He could be lodged down the back of Nemos throat in seconds. Now thats what you call fast foods.

You want some advice? Keep that Rat away! He WILL kill it if he gets the chance, dont risk it, I think most Terriers would see him as a tasty take-away! Very pretty Rat.

I agree with Dawn, it's just not worth the risk Nemo *might* grow used to the rat but then again he might not.... they are crafty little thing and I know both of mine would happily scoff the rat down... ziggy is so crafty he would probably try to convince me he liked the rat just to have a chance of extra food!

Don't risk the cute little rat

Whilst visiting my sister-in-law I noticed that she'd bought a 'battery operated 'toy' rat for the amusement of her cat's (who by the way couldn't have been more disinterested). Anyway whilst holding said rat at chest height, Sparky came into the room, seen the rat, leapt up and snatched the rat from her hand before racing outside and under the hedge. After some crunching he returned rather shamefacedly! I'd definately not trust a terrier with anything so conveniently bite sized!!

Awww very cute Rattie - I had one once called Brad My dogs had different reactions to it, my GSD Jasper ignored it and never bothered him at all, whereas Brandy my big Rottie-girl was terrified of it and used to run out of the room whenever he was out of the cage!!!

Hope Nemo gets used to him soon, best of luck.
