Godmother, arrrrrgggghhh!

Arrrggghhh as in I'm scared of babies! and aaaaargh I could burst I'm so chuffed!!!

Today I visited my best friends new baby Annie up in Cumbria, she is absolutely beautiful. Emily asked me to be Godparent She said some lovely things about if anything ever happened to her and her partner she wants to know she is brought up in a loving home.

Thing is, what do I do! I know there's the Christening, and I must never forget a Birthday! But what else?

Are any of you Godparents?

I'm a Godparent.
In the christening you get a sheet to read from saying what you have to say. You say it with the other Godparents so you wont be alone!
Just remember birthdays and Xmas!! When my Goddaughter got to 21 I stopped buying pressies and just give a card now. xx

Oh how lovely for you. Being a Godmother really is a privelege and you are supposed to act as a friend and mentor

Hope you have a lovely day.
