Daily Thread, Thursday, 2nd August.

Good morning one and all, going to be another hot one today!

Griff, hope Deags tummy is better this morning. Amber is the same it is this hot weather upsets them.

Happy home hunting Lynn, gets frustrating doesn't it. Hope Dillon is ok.

Brenda hope Tyto is ok today and Harvey, Casey too. The dogs don't like this weather too hot. Sue does Teazle mind it?

Chris, hope Gary is ok now.

Have a good day all, take care, stay cool and above all safe and well. God bless.

Hope Deags tummy is soon sorted.

Pleased you have sorted your desk situation Moyra. Teazle seems to be ok. Fortunately the kitchen and hall are quite cool so she usually manages to find somewhere

Do hope you house hunt perks up Lynn.

Another hot day in store here so nothing planned

Hope all two and four legged are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning one and all. Sorry to hear Deags isn't well. Hope you have a result Lynn with the house hunting. I have had a reply from the shed people and they are coming on Wednesday to have a look and give a quote. Looking at various websites they seem to be the best price. Just hope the little extras like assembling and vat aren't to high. And that it comes with a floor. bg!! Put my shadey things up last night so house nice and cool at the moment. Tyto doesn't like the heat and neither do I but of course as it is cool indoors he thinks that it will be out. Huh shame I can't explain to him. Have a good day all. bg!!

Back fence is done, neighbour rung up, it's sooooooo nice but she thinks her gate doesn't look right now! Well duh, we paid for the panel, she could have spent the money for that on a nice gate like ours

Yes, it's her gate so let her sort it

So sorry to read about Deags, hope the vet can sort it, that link Kazz posted scarred the hell out of me Casey has only fresh clean water at home but he did drink from the river but we don't go down that way now, it's too far for him.

Has been another very hot day with almost no breeze and tomorrow is going to be the same, roll on the weekend.

Lynn I hope your buyer will be sympathetic to a small delay, sounds like they are getting a good deal and IMO they should be willing for you to get the same and as Moyra and others have said there are properties comming on the market all the time.

Have not been out in the garden today so will now go and water a few critical plants now and hope for some rain soon.

Thanks Harvey, I had heard of giardia before deags has it but it's damn nasty. I got a tiny bit annoyed as on another forum I mentioned it can be caught by drinking out of water contaminated by feaces...one lady was appalled I would allow my dog to do that, errrrmmm I would never deliberately harm her!!
I don't think she was wanting us to pay for the gate but she saw ours last week so why not say something to Darren then?
Mum txt him and said ..the fence is s*&t I want it taking out!! Only joking it's great, he was driving and only saw the start of the message..says he nearly had a heart attack but good banter lol
