Dog Party games - ideas please

Hi folks,
We have just done a christmas party for dogs at our training club and am now going to start planning an Easter one. Lessons were learnt from the Christmas one and more planning is needed. I wondered if anyone knows of any unusual games we can play? We do do agility at the club so we have agility equipment that could be utilised if required. I would like there be things for those who don't do agility to join in with too. All suggestions welcomed.

Also would like to do some form of treasure hunt/ easter egg hunt (not with choc obviously) involving the dogs but can't get my head round how to do it, any suggestions here would be apprieciated.

Thanks

Egg and spoon race lead in one hand, spoon in the other

Traffic lights red- down, amber-sit, green-stand or musical sits/downs

Catch the sausage, dogs sit and have to jump up and catch a thrown sausage if they miss they're out

Tunnels- owners stand in a line close together with dogs sitting at heel. They make a tunnel with their legs and the dog at the front of the line has to run through the tunnel and meet his owner at the other end. Then they join the end of the line and the next pair go. It can be done as a team game. First team to get all dogs through is the winner.

Re-train a command to a different word in fixed time e.g we had to teach 'down' to a reindeer's name, no hand signals allowed

Give all the owners a newspaper and ask them to tear it into a profile of their dogs.

Search for treats previously hidden around the hall

Get everyone to bring an cloth from home, spread them all out and ask the dogs to find their own.

Ask them, in advance, to learn a new trick and then perform it at the party

A simple agility course, just a few jumps. a tunnel and a weave. If you mix up teams so those who do agility don't all end up together and allow non agility people to use treats leads etc, it should be fun.

I'm sure there's lots of others but can't think just now

At our last party the funniest thing was how competitive some of the owners were it should all be fun

Musical squares - put cardboard squares on the floor and when the music stops every dog has to sit on a square. The dog without a square is out

Just remembered another one we did 'dooking for sausages' Basin of water with sausages at the bottom. Each dog gets a turn to eat any sausage he picks up

egg carrying is quite good fun they need a soft mouth also try hiding from the dog and let them use there nose to find you my lab loved that we also used to do the 3 bowls thing where you put a treat under 1 bowl and leave the others with nothing under.

I think the egg and spoon race should be lead round the wrist of the spoon hand That'll be a loose lead heel work challenge!

'Hold it'... All dogs given something to hold in their mouths.. Only one vocal command allowed. Last one still holding the toy wins... You can ramp up the game by making it a bonio that they have to hold... (Selkie failed dismally)

'Buckeroo': Dog is in a stand, no commands given. handkerchiefs, or cloths are then put on all the dog's backs. Dog has to stay in the stand and not take the cloth off their backs, or sit or lie down and let the cloths fall.... Most cloths win.

You can get "Winner" medals in the party section of sainsburys... Count up the most winner medals on a dog at the end of the day and give a nice prize to the one with the most and a fun consolation prize to the least

We played noughts and crosses at one of our parties, lay out a grid and have two teams. The owners have to place the dogs in one of the squares and they have to do a sit stay with the owners around the outside. Was good fun!
