Agility show (yesterday, with pics)

We went to the Lewes agility show yesterday, Jack came 3rd in the grade 1-7 Helter Skelter but the agility he got eliminated, Chris's fault, but he did get his contacts and in the jumping he was flying and clear until the last jump, when it kinda went pear shaped, and for some reason Jack didn't seem to know what to do, and came out of the jump, then back jumped and got eliminated, this has been cropping up in Jacks rounds a few times and we wern't sure why but looking at the uncropped pics, we think we know why, Chris wasn't doing anything with his arm, he wasn't showing Jack what he wanted him to do, Chris sorted this out and there wern't any problems in the next two rounds with the last fence

Weaves.

Long Jump

Where?........... notice the arm

Too late!

I think he's laughing

Lovely photos - particularly of the weave and the long jump

You can see Jack clearly looking at Chris for directions as he's going over the long jump

Just shows how useful it is for you to be there with your camera as well - it may have taken Chris ages to work out what was going wrong otherwise.

Great result in the 1-7 HS, shows he's got lots of potential to go far! You need to make sure Chris works him the whole course, it's easy to think you've finnished when there's just 1 jump left.

Thank you

We've found pics and videos very helpful in the past, and hopefully, we've now found out what this problem was, fingers crossed

Our Trainer was also at the show, running her own dogs, and she said in the HS the dog that came 2nd was a grade 6/7, but she wasn't sure about the 1st place dog but whatever, we are still thrilled to bits with the 3rd place
