obedience

im getting my puppy in just oevr 3 weeks

i plan to teach her obedience - literally from day one (cant stand disobedient dogs lol)

soo - question is - how do i get her kennel club registered (it's been 9 years since ive had a puppy) - she's a border collie x spaniel

and how old does she have to be before i start doing competitins and what will she have to do??

can someone explain it all to me as i need refreshing about this all!!1

You can register her on the working register

www.obedienceuk.com has all the info you will require

She can compete from 6 months if ready ... have you shown in obedience before?
Lowest class is the Good Citizens Stakes then there is pre beginners which involves heelwork on and off lead, recall and finish and sit and down stays.

anoher question::

i need a name to register her as:

she's called Millie

my other dog got names after a horse id always wanted - midnight dancer (lol)

any ideas??

p.s - im planning to do agility as well - so any obedience/agaility names!! cos im hopeless lol - thanks!

well - the breeder calls her fattie lol!!

erm - she's really sweet - justlooks like a border collie

but i guess i'll just have to wait until she's home and i get to know her a bit better!!!!

roll on 3 weeks!!
