Friday – YAY!

Off to the vet with Mya this morning – I’ve already had to cancel two appointments due to the bad weather, so I’d really like to keep this one. It’s for her skin condition which is actually a lot better, so I’m hoping she’ll be signed off for the time being.

Snow blizzards last night when we walked the dogs, but all gone this morning

Today’s gem:
While shopping for holiday clothes, my husband and I passed a display of bathing suits. It had been at least ten years and twenty pounds since I had even considered buying a bathing suit, so sought my husband's advice.

"What do you think?" I asked. "Should I get a bikini or an all-in-one?"

"Better get a bikini," he replied. "You'd never get it all in one."
He's still in intensive care.

Morning all - no panic today as Ken is walking the dogs so I get a lie in and can take it a bit easier although up doing Wii fit - haven't done it for 19 days it told me !!! but weight not gone up - phew!

Fingers crossed on Mya - have great Fridays (not often Friday isn't great though is it!)

We had snow again last night and it is still lying this morning hope it clears soon we are due some sunshine so hopefully it will clear..

Morning Vicki, morning all. We had heavy snow all day yesterday and this morning we have...nothing! I'm off til Tuesday now Woo Hoo! Think some retail therapy is in order after walkies this morning. Happy Friday everyone.

Glad to hear Mya is much improved.
I am in a dilemma about whether to book Shady an appointment today. Vet said if she was still not well today, being sick etc to take her back. She is not being sick because that injection is working and should continue to do so till 3-4pm, by which time it will be too late for me to get an appointment and I have to go out at 3.45 anyway.
In herself she is very very quiet though more so than yesterday and I am wondering if that is because her temp is sky high and she feels awful or if its the injection making her quiet.

Well last day at school today then they break up for a week.
Hopefully the snow will keep off as we have alot to do on the Allotment.

Morning all. I am crossing my fingers that the snow does not stop my brother and family coming down from Scotland today. We are all so looking forward to seeing them.

Just some jobs out and about today and coffee with a friend to kick it all off to start.

Morning Vicki, morning all I took my daughter and her pony to a show jumping competition last night - in the blizzard Fortunately we made it back home safely, passing all the cars that were stuck in the snow. I didn't dare stop to help with the horses in the trailer, so hope they all got sorted ok. Daughter very happy as she came home with 3 rosettes Have a great Friday
