Can we have a gundog section?

Purely selfish I know, but as I'm out next weekend, and may have many days of fun over the next six months, I wondered if there could be a place to share gundog work, training etc?

If we start having a section for this interest and another for a different interest it is the quickest way to fragment a forum.

There is no reason I can see why a thread is not started about gundogs without having to have a seperate section on the subject.

If my memory serves me correctly it was not that long ago there was a similar request for a section on something else which was not allowed.

Funnily enough, I have been thinking about reducing the number of sections on Dogsey

Merging the Health and Diet sections (& raw feeding sections)
Merging Photos/videos and other chat sections into general chat etc
Merging all Rescue sections
Merging all off-topic sections
etc

And instead use thread categories, so we still get types of thread by category but haven't got so many sections (like we do on Breedia) - making it easier to navigate.

However it would mean upgrading to a slightly newer version of software and I'm not sure when I'll get the time to do that as the design would have to be reimplemented.

What I meant was a section about working your gundogs, rather than just the breed standard for all breeds. It'd be nice to have a place to share experiences, training, and even photos of gundogs working etc, where anyone interested could pop in and read/post. Obviously anyone who doesn't want to see game being retrieved etc can avoid then.
