The Play Police Officer
I've had two of those.

Hope it's good, I've just bought it.

If you want hard to find books at competitive price you might want to try Lynda at Positive Animal Solutions

http://www.positiveanimalsolutions.c...ory_s/1918.htm

I have had a couple of books from her which were cheaper than buying direct.

Can you make everyone I met on my walk tonight read that please?
We had five dogs off the lead come over and hassle us tonight.
I'm turning into a dog paranoid mess, will this book solve all my problems?

I also do not have a posh e-book reading device but could try and make it work on laptop.

It's not a very long book - I am happy with my Kindle for PC version and probably won't buy the book - although I admit I would prefer to have something to actually hold and I don't think there's a way of printing out from it

Sometimes books are just better all round - if bits of it could be printed out as handouts, then Niccie could get her wish!

[And I might stand a chance of changing the mind of someone I know, whose dog is steadily getting more & more reactive on-lead.... their attitude to it is to jerk lead, say NO! and stand there "until the dog calms down" ]

Unfortunately it is only a book, not a magic wand, and it is more about keeping YOUR dogs safe and well mannered ambassadors then handling others.

As she rightly says, the freedoms we used to take for granted are being eroded due to ill mannered owners who bring dogs into disrepute.

Sounds interesting. I'll probably download it for my Kobo. I'll bet that Cain falls into "misfit" although he could probably fill the bully, chaser, grump, play police and smoosher role too!
