Lol it's hard, I use No a lot - not always as a telling off - it was my first word so it has to be my favourite

Zymi did a dive and bark at the window when the pavement gritter went by. I yelled Zymi but changed to come and a treat.

Cava tried to hump me and I just ignored him and he stopped.

Interesting isn't it

Do you reckon they do these things to get a reaction from us.

It is interesting - I wonder if you could train a dog from 8 weeks without ever saying No or anything like that ... Hmmmm

2 so far, when we went to bed last night, nelie the mad bat starts abit of growling, trying to see who hasent eaten their bedtime biccy. That got a "no" which shut her up.

then today decided to brave the snow & walk to bank & Just take Zo
as shes the one that most needs to run, all the dogs started going bonkers, so did a big "NO" & all shut up,.

not too bad two "no "s out of 5 dogs!

Nope not bad - but can you imagine if you had 5 kids instead they'd purposely wind you up

Another one to Cava for humping while I was on phone but only 2 so ok. I'm going to make a conscious effort to keep this up as I could swear that Zymi isn't barking at the window as much...

(I am applying the same training principles to my 10 month old twin grandchildren who are currently leaning to 'leave' and praised for doings so, distracted/moved away if they ignore the command ).

Oh........wait....does it count if I say no in apology? as in "no, I'm sorry you can't share my sandwich" as I do say that

Mind you when we get the new pup I will be saying "no" every 5 minutes
haha oh yes you will
