I was told too much vit A can cause cleft palate, not sure how true that is. But I do give wheatgerm from before pregnancy and up to 3 weeks into pregnancy, then swap to Raspberry leaf. My girls have vit E daily anyway. Never caused any problems.

Suppose like anythink you can overdos but you`d have to give extremely high doses of E to do that.

You can overdose on Vit A don`t know about it causing cleft palate tho

I don't give any supplements at all after mating has taken place until the last third of the pregnancy when all the development of the foetus's has taken place.

Vit E is a fat soluble vit so will build up in the body if taken to excess, B and C, are water soluble so won,t build up and any excess is passed out through the body. Lady in a health shop i visit said that we shouldn,t give vit E throughout pregnancy as it is a blood thinner, blood doesn,t clott as well ?
