Round here if its noisy outside it is cows. If its really noisy it means the dogs are barking cos of cows. If you come home and find the gate to the front drive closed it means the farmer has been polite and closed it before passing with his cows. If your held up driving and its not due to a tractor driving down the middle of the road it will more than likely be cows

It can be very noisy in the country. When the lambs or calves are weaned and moved the noise from the ewes and cows deprived of their young is dreadful. Then there are the rope guns/bird scares in the corn and the farmer tearing up and down the lane at 5am on his huge tractor . Not forgetting the cockerel who gets going at first light

I notice the dawn chorus is not what it used to be though, far fewer birds around these days

Awww all I see go past my house is tractor loads of carrots or potatoes - I'd love to see a few cows walking down the street - we have them near the country park..

We have a corn on the cob field next to our hedge (too bad I don't eat the stuff)

When the animals sneaking in and wrecking your garden are cows and horses rather than foxes and rats
