You wake up ,open the back door and all you can smell is slurry from the local farms ...

one iv found: when you get covered (literally, i had them down my top and everything ) in corn flies during the harvest season.

I don't mind the smell of slurry it is a good healthy smell .
Also on a damp summer evening the ammonia laden scent of cow urine emitting from the area in which the herd have congregated for long periods.
one iv found: when you get covered (literally, i had them down my top and everything ) in corn flies during the harvest season.
I find the corn flies even get behind the glass in picture frames.
Still for me these things are preferable to what I imagine to be the smell of 'human' habitation in the inner city

now that i wouldnt mind. better than the concrete im surrounded with. done the rural living and wasnt too lucky with it, but if i had the money id like a place stuck up a welsh mountain and yes i like quiet
