Being born and bred in Ascot, racing and polo are in my blood, so yes I usually have a flutter.
Not studied the form yet though.

I always study the form, then just pick the names I like! Bit of a gamble really, but I like the "technical" side too.

Flast season upon us too, excellent!

Every time I watch racing on television at least one horse dies, so I won't be betting - think I bring bad luck.

I've gone for My Will, and Darkness. It's the only race I bet on.

Can't watch it! My Dad was a big gambler when I was a kid. Always had horse racing on the tv. Hated it. Seeing the horses fall makes me feel ill

Well I've put into the sweepstake at work and pulled out Southern Vic - 33-1! Not much chance there me thinks!

Think I'll have a proper bet tomorrow too though.

Wont be watching, it sickens me that horses are killed pretty much every year, there is nothing sporting about this race imo, [ nor the industry as a whole as far as I`m concerned ].

So no, won`t be placing a bet, not ever.

Well true, but as a northerner I'm horrified to have picked out a horse with the name Southern Vic!
