yuck yuck yuckety yuck.....

Have just caught Zeita eating a snail she was crunching it on my settee

took it off her and put said dead snail on my draining board to bin.......5 mins later go back to remove it and there are at least 30 tiny maggots crawling over my sink . It must have already been dead she just sees tasty treat

I am itching all over at the thought have just bleached the sink lol I am assuming her stomache will cope with the maggots. Just checked settee none there.....

Urrrrgghhh.

That's sooo gross.

on a serious note, I remember my vet telling me that there was something which snails carry (can't remember but think it must have been a type of worm)...he asked me whether my dogs ate snails/slugs as it would affect which worming treatment to give.

Might just be worth double checking with your vet.
