Lynn you are doing so well with yours. I love the daisies and the hover fly I planted a whole packet of Poppy seeds and not one has grown
Loving yours BP, it's all looking good. Did you grow the Bottle brush from seed or did you buy a bush? What is growing up the trellis?

Everyone's looks so nice. My yard is such a mess, so embarrassing in comparison! But I'll show it anyway, admittedly we don't spend much time on it and we suck with plants.

Our backyard is a hugeeee forest... so we have no space back there to plant anything, just trees and whatnot for ages...

Front porch gist (and Nigredo) needs sweeping, pots need straitening...

Side of the porch ish area... the peek a boo flowers are running amok...

Again... peek a boos have taken over and Gladiolas have fallen down... managed to water away some of the dog wee grass burn, though

This is the huge bush thingy that grows in the front yard... the doggies love to explore there, excuse the wood plank.. we have been working on that busted blue car you see there

The backyard is nothing but this... deep, thick forest... all the way around, so not interesting at all back there, unless you love forests

There is no fence... so it does not look all neat and pretty like everyone else's

I cannot [will not] post any pictures of my "gardens" but will describe them.

Front - earth [dirt more like it], stones and weeds.

Corner of side by the pavement - huge palm [not the sort that grows on a tall wotsit but with fronds that just spread outwards and upwards from the ground.

Side - weeds, weeds and more weeds, plus my fig trees which I cannot get to but him next door can - and does - and takes all the figs year after year after year.

Further back another huge palm, behind The Shack and by the side of my inaccessible side kitchen window. Not exactly sure what, if anything is behind it - probably just more weeds.

Back - a jungle of weeds, weeds and more weeds, plus another palm. Not sure if the ground covering grape vines are still there as I cannot access it but my neighbour can and has not brought any in so I reckon the vines have gonzo. There is also a pomegranate tree but it has the sour pomegranates which nobody wants.

Side between my bungalow and my neighbour - dirt and weeds.

Oh, Malka

Yours can't be worse than mine. All I have are weeds and thick brush all over the place. It looks remote as if nobody even lives here! We can't grow anything because we are too incompetent and the rest looks absurd. Don't feel bad about posting pics, nobody will make fun of you.
