Dehydrating cherry tomatoes

Being slightly over-enthusiastic when buying vine cherry tomatoes, I forgot that I already had some [ie rather a lot] of the little oval cherry tomatoes in the refrigerator, so decided to dehydrate those.

Problem. The instructions say 5 - 9 hours and the dehydrator has already been on for 7 hours with not much dehydration going on as yet.

Does anyone know whether turning the heat up slightly will help?

Not sure if you can dehydrate tomatoes, what would they taste like I wonder.
No experience of dehydrators Malka, but since you mentioned them I have looked at them

I have been successful in dehydrating sliced regular tomatoes but this is the first time for cherry toms, and I am aiming for the texture of sun-dried tomatoes. I have set it at 52°C [125°F] according to the instructions so they should work.

I have a four drawer one which does not have a timer - the five drawer and nine drawer ones do, so I usually start to check things about half an hour before the lowest of the recommended times.

Maybe I just need to leave them for another couple of hours.
