Wow, that's some big sunflower you got there Jen, but why do you grow them? Is it for the grandsproglets or do you actually do something with them? Just curious as I am, cos I've always wondered? Maybe the seeds have some very special powers, ooooer!!!

You're looking good there too Jen You've overtaken me in height now even though you haven't even grown, cos I've shrunk from 5ft 7 down to 5ft 5", where it went who knows

Wot a wopper! Hope you entered it for one of those giant Sunflower comps?

As for why grow them - my pal down in Margate has a big row of them and he sends me photos of the feral parakeets all over them eating the seeds! Wonderful!

Oh of course, yes the sunflower seeds, my parrot used to eat those, and the birds love the insides of them don't they? Now you've answered my question Pat
