Grease stain

How can I get a stain from bacon fat out of a cotton t-shirt?
Hubby dribbled his bacon sandwich

Rub fairy liquid onto stain (both sides), leave for a while then wash as normal. Usually works for me with greasy stains.

are you sure it wasn't you sucking on that bacon there Jen????

Don't they say greaseproof paper ironed over it? I think I read that somewhere? What about slapping it under your steam mop, might lift out the grease? What about the Vanish or Biotex, they're good?

I must be the world's messiest cook, even wearing an apron I get grease stains on things Like Carole I rub neat fairy liquid into the grease stain before washing .

Vanish is useless and what really annoys me is it is now possible to buy a powder to add to washing powder to get the stains out of things, I thought that is what washing powder is supposed to do .

Wot she said - greaseproof or blotting paper. But those STAIN DEVILS are dammed good! And they do one for every sort of stain.

I use the Vanish in a bottle with plastic brush top. Just scrub it over the spot and wash as normal.

However NOTHING will lift the GREY from the sheets Moneth left in the flat and I can assure you they were blinding WHITE when I put them in there!

I've managed to buy a load of ARMY GREEN LINEN SHEETS and that's what I'm putting in apartments from now on lol!

Give it to him to clean! Paul has a habit of dropping stuff on his shirt...maybe midday at work...then brining it home, leaving it on the banister or floor for a week or so..then I finally wash it.....and then he's surprised when the stain doesn't come out!
