Gosh, every couple days? Your washing machine cannot be happy! I must admit, I do have a tendency to slack on cleaning Molly's bed and usually just do her blankets but I can imagine it'd be murder on your washing machine if you have dogs that use their beds a lot, especially having more than one dog!

I do what Sal does every few weeks. Not had a problem since... And since I have horses the washing takes a bashing from all the dirt, hair, bedding and hay stuck on my clothes!

I forgot to add I always wash at 40, and when I give the washing machine a clean I stick it on at 90.

I noticed that with my clothes as well. But with everything. I was using Lenor Infusions - Breath of Fresh air one - Blue stuff. I had bought 2 bottles of the stuff (BOGOFF) When I realised what it probably was I stopped using it & my clothers smell OK again now. It wasnt very pleasant sleeping with that smell on the bedding either
